Description

The Deli Slicer is responsible for operating meat and cheese slicing equipment to prepare products according to customer specifications and company standards. The role requires attention to detail, food safety awareness, and excellent customer service skills.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain deli slicers safely and efficiently.
  • Slice meats, cheeses, and other deli products to customer specifications.
  • Ensure products are labeled, packaged, and displayed properly.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.
  • Provide friendly, efficient, and accurate customer service.
  • Assist with other deli or store duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a deli, meat counter, or food preparation preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper slicing techniques and food safety standards.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight (up to 50 lbs).
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
